Bharat Vansh Bahadur is Senior Vice President and General Counsel at Akasa Air, India’s youngest and greenest airline. He brings extensive experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and cross-border transactions. Bharat began his career with AZB & Partners, advising clients on M&A and private equity deals, and subsequently joined Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP in Singapore as an Associate Attorney and registered foreign law practitioner, where he advised on a range of cross-border M&A transactions. Prior to joining Akasa Air, he served as Associate General Counsel at IndiGo, India’s largest airline, where he led key legal and corporate matters for over five years. Bharat is an alumnus of The Doon School, Dehradun, holds a law degree from Delhi University, and has recently completed an Executive Leadership Programme at the Indian School of Business.
