Debosmita Nandy is a seasoned legal professional with 15 years of experience spanning dispute resolution, corporate advisory, contracts, litigation strategy and business-focused legal support. She began her career with Khaitan & Co’s Dispute Resolution team, where she handled diverse civil, commercial and intellectual property matters before courts and tribunals. She subsequently spent a decade with ITC Limited, advising multiple business functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Construction, Operations and Business Development, while developing expertise in complex contract negotiations and litigation strategy across FMCG, hospitality and retail businesses in India and Sri Lanka. Currently, as Head of Legal at Cinépolis India, Debosmita leads the company’s legal function and a team of lawyers, providing strategic counsel to support business operations and growth. A Gold Medalist from the National University of Juridical Sciences, Class of 2009, she is also an author, speaker, mentor and former legal blogger, sharing practical insights on law and professional transitions.
