Divyana Murdeshwar is a seasoned in-house counsel and corporate governance professional with over 18 years of experience across legal, compliance, and risk management functions. She currently leads the Legal & Compliance function at TriNet's India GCCs as Executive Director and Legal Counsel - India. She serves as a strategic advisor to the business on a wide range of matters, including commercial contracting, employment law, data privacy, real estate, corporate governance, compliance, and legal risk.

Throughout her career, Divyana has held several board positions and currently serves as a Director on the Board of TriNet's India GCC. Prior to joining TriNet, she held a leadership role with Opentext, where she gained extensive experience navigating complex legal and regulatory landscapes across APAC. She has also previously worked with Deloitte, Novartis and L&T.

She has successfully led and delivered several strategic initiatives, including the implementation of new regulatory frameworks, mergers and acquisitions, establishment of legal centre of excellence, the scaling of legal services teams, and the establishment of enterprise-wide compliance programs. Recognized for her business-oriented approach and governance expertise, Divyana has played a pivotal role in enabling organizational growth while managing legal and compliance risks effectively. Divyana also holds the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional-International (CCEP-I) certifications, reflecting her commitment to the highest standards of ethics, compliance, and corporate integrity.
