Dr. Amit Gupta is a seasoned legal and corporate professional serving as Vice President and Head Legal and Land Acquisition at Purvah Green Power Pvt. Ltd., the renewable energy arm of the RP Sanjiv Goenka Group. With more than 26 years of experience, he brings extensive expertise across litigation, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, corporate compliance, fundraising, real estate, listing matters and alternative dispute resolution. He holds first-class BBA and MBA (Finance) degrees along with an LL.B. from the University of Delhi and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. Dr. Gupta has been recognised for his leadership in large-scale land acquisition, including at the Indian National Solar Awards. His professional accolades include recognition among the Top 50 Under 50 in Renewable Energy and the BW Legal Top 100 General Counsel Powerlist. He has also been recognised as a legal luminary and Best Leading Lawyer. He holds an honorary Ph.D. in Business Management and Law from Dunster Business School, Switzerland.
