Manjaree Chowdhary, General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer, Maruti Suzuki India, is a seasoned legal and compliance professional with around 28 years of experience across the manufacturing, healthcare, power, and automotive sectors. She has held senior leadership responsibilities at Maruti Suzuki India, including serving as Executive Director and General Counsel, and brings extensive expertise in corporate law, governance, regulatory affairs, compliance, and strategic legal management.

Manjaree holds a BA (Honours) and MA in English, along with a Bachelor of Laws from Panjab University and a Master’s in Law with distinction from London. She has further strengthened her leadership capabilities through executive development programmes at GE’s Crotonville campus and New York. She also holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
