Neera Sharma, Group General Counsel & CEO, Sistema Smart Technologies Limited, is a distinguished corporate legal leader with nearly three decades of professional experience spanning telecommunications, real estate, IT, and venture capital. She has held key legal and leadership roles with organisations including DCM Limited, HCL, Idea Cellular, Emaar MGF Land, HFCL Infotel, and Dishnet Wireless (Aircel), and has been associated with Sistema since 2008.

Her expertise encompasses corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance, complex negotiations, litigation, arbitration, and dispute resolution. In her leadership role, Neera combines deep legal expertise with a strong understanding of business and strategic priorities, enabling her to navigate complex regulatory and commercial environments effectively.

Neera holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Panjab University, an MBA in Finance from Amity Business School, and has completed the UCLA Post Graduate Program in Management for Executives. Her professional achievements have been recognised with the Legal Era General Counsel of the Year Award in 2016, reflecting her leadership and contribution to the legal profession.
