Pooja Sehgal Mehtani is the General Counsel and Company Secretary at Sun Life Global Solutions, India, where she leads the Legal and Corporate Secretarial functions and heads the organisation’s Information Technology Contracting Centre. With two decades of legal and corporate experience, she brings a strong combination of legal expertise, strategic counsel, and business leadership.

Ms. Mehtani advises senior leadership on a wide range of legal, strategic, and business matters, while driving automation, digitisation, and transformation initiatives across the organisation. She has played a key role in establishing and strengthening legal functions, with extensive expertise in data privacy, commercial contracts, competition law, labour laws, litigation, arbitration, and complex project risk management.

Prior to joining Sun Life Global Solutions, she served as Legal Counsel at Suez and Sanspareils Greenlands, gaining diverse experience across corporate and commercial legal matters. Her business-oriented approach and focus on innovation have enabled her to align legal strategy with organisational growth and evolving regulatory requirements.
