Roop Loomba is a seasoned in-house legal professional with more than 25 years of experience in corporate legal affairs, governance, compliance, and strategic legal leadership. Over the course of her career, she has held senior legal positions with leading organisations including Castrol, Hindustan Unilever, Philips, Whirlpool, and Rolls-Royce.

At Rolls-Royce, she served as General Counsel and Head of Ethics & Compliance for India and South Asia, advising leadership on complex legal, regulatory, governance, and business matters. Her expertise spans corporate law, regulatory compliance, risk management, litigation, mergers and acquisitions, and the development and leadership of legal functions.

Ms. Loomba has played a significant role in establishing robust legal and compliance frameworks and supporting organisations through major business transformations. Her ability to combine legal expertise with commercial understanding has enabled her to provide strategic counsel while strengthening governance and risk management practices.

An alumna of Panjab University, she holds an LL.B. and brings a wealth of cross-sector experience and a business-focused approach to in-house legal leadership.
