With over 18 years of distinguished experience, Mr. Mishra is a seasoned legal and governance professional known for his strategic acumen, deep domain expertise, and leadership in Corporate Governance, Board Advisory, Legal Strategy, and Regulatory Compliance.

His diverse experience spans contract and litigation management (both domestic and international), mergers and acquisitions, company secretarial functions, intellectual property rights, arbitration and mediation, as well as policy advocacy.

As General Counsel and Company Secretary at Tata Consulting Engineers, Mr. Mishra plays a pivotal role in strengthening the organization’s legal and governance framework, driving compliance excellence, and enabling strategic business growth. He has led several high-impact initiatives, including cross-border acquisitions, complex litigations and arbitrations, and the implementation of robust compliance systems.

He has also overseen the drafting, review, and negotiation of an extensive portfolio of contracts across sectors such as infrastructure, power, energy, metals, and chemicals, both in India and internationally. Additionally, he has been instrumental in developing and implementing critical organizational policies, including Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, Data Privacy, and POSH frameworks, ensuring adherence to evolving regulatory standards.

Prior to joining Tata Consulting Engineers in 2014, Mr. Mishra was associated with Tata Petrodyne Limited, where he managed global oil and gas contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and complex commercial arrangements across multiple geographies.

Mr. Mishra currently serves as a Board Member of Ecofirst Services Limited, a Tata Enterprise. His thought leadership is widely recognized through his contributions to the ESG & Sustainability Board of ICSI, the National Legal Committee at CII, and as Chairman of the CII Legal Reform Sub-Committee (IT/ITES). He is also a member of the Corporate Governance Expert Group for the ICSI National Awards under the Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
