Tejal Patil, Senior Vice President & General Counsel, Wipro, is a distinguished in-house legal professional with more than 30 years of experience spanning legal, compliance, corporate governance, and risk management, with significant expertise across the Asia-Pacific region. Since joining Wipro in 2022, she has led the company’s legal and compliance, global data privacy, and government affairs functions and serves on the Wipro Executive Council.

Prior to Wipro, Tejal was Senior Legal Advisor at OYO Hotels & Homes and spent nearly 19 years with General Electric, where she held senior leadership positions including Group General Counsel, GE South Asia, and General Counsel, Asia Pacific at GE Healthcare. She began her career in private practice in Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Tejal graduated from Government Law College, Mumbai, in 1993 and is a solicitor of the Bombay Incorporated Law Society and the Law Society of England and Wales. Her extensive experience positions her as a strategic legal leader navigating complex global regulatory and business environments.
