Yogesh Wadhwa is the General Counsel and Function Head – Legal & Corporate Governance at Hyundai Motor India Limited, bringing 26 years of experience across legal, compliance, litigation, regulatory affairs, and corporate governance. In his current role, he provides strategic legal leadership and supports the organisation on complex corporate and business matters.

At Hyundai Motor India, Mr. Wadhwa has played an important role in significant strategic initiatives, including IPO readiness, the acquisition of the Pune plant, and the development of enterprise-wide ethics and compliance frameworks. His broad expertise encompasses legal risk management, regulatory matters, dispute resolution, governance, and corporate compliance.

Prior to joining Hyundai Motor India, he held senior leadership positions with General Motors, Renault Nissan, Halliburton, PwC, and Fox Mandal, gaining extensive experience across India and the Middle East.

In September 2026, Mr. Wadhwa was appointed as a Senior Management Personnel of Hyundai Motor India, further recognising his leadership and contribution to the organisation.
