Nishtha Sharma is the Associate General Counsel at Schrödinger India Private Limited, the India subsidiary of Schrödinger, Inc., New York, and is based in Hyderabad. In her current role, she leads the end-to-end legal function for the India GCC and Sales offices, overseeing commercial, regulatory, and operational legal matters. She also heads the POSH framework and legal operations for the region, while managing commercial sales and procurement legal functions across key Asia-Pacific markets, including Korea, China, and Japan.

Before joining Schrödinger, Nishtha gained extensive in-house experience as part of the legal teams at D.E. Shaw India (Schrödinger team) and Divi’s Laboratories Limited, one of the world’s leading API manufacturers. Her professional foundation was built in full-service law firms, where she practised at Juris Prime Law Services in Hyderabad, and Obhan & Associates and AKS Partners in New Delhi. These diverse roles equipped her with strong expertise in corporate advisory, contract management, commercial transactions, IP, compliance, and regulatory affairs.

Nishtha holds a B.B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) with a specialization in Business Laws from KIIT School of Law, KIIT University; and an LL.M. from National Law University, Jodhpur, specializing in Corporate Laws and International Trade. She is known for her structured approach, cross-border legal acumen, and ability to partner effectively with business teams across geographies.
