Advised and represented clients in insolvency proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, including matters involving the interpretation of Section 7 and the exercise of judicial discretion in admission of insolvency petitions, in light of evolving jurisprudence including the Supreme Court’s ruling in Vidarbha Industries Power Limited

v. Axis Bank Limited.

Acted in high-stakes commercial litigation and arbitration matters involving enforcement and challenge to arbitral awards, including proceedings engaging with the legal framework governing post-award remedies and curative jurisdiction, in the context of principles laid down in Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited Vs. Delhi Airport Metro Express Pvt. Ltd.

Advised and represented a major power sector client in successfully challenging the validity of a large-scale tender and associated Power Purchase Agreements for a 6,400 MW solar project before a High Court, on grounds of inconsistency with the Electricity Act, 2003 and competitive bidding guidelines.

Represented a major player in the transmission business in proceedings before the Supreme Court of India in relation to the award of a ~INR 7,000 crore transmission project, where the Supreme Court clarified the interplay between Sections 62 and 63 of the Act.
