Tapasi Sil, Director – Legal & Compliance, Air Liquide, is a seasoned legal professional with more than two decades of experience spanning the corporate, energy, infrastructure, and technology sectors. She brings extensive expertise in legal leadership, corporate advisory, compliance, and strategic counsel across complex and evolving business environments.

Tapasi studied law at ILS Law College, Pune, and began her legal career in 2001 with Fox Mandal & Associates, Rajinder Narain & Co., and DSK Legal. She subsequently held senior in-house positions with Lifetree Convergence, Genpact, Schneider Electric, and Siemens, including leadership roles covering Energy Management and Gas & Power.

Before joining Air Liquide in November 2025, Tapasi served as General Counsel – South Asia at GE Renewable Energy and General Counsel, Onshore Wind – South Asia at GE Vernova, advising businesses across the renewable-energy landscape. Her career reflects strong expertise in navigating regulatory complexity and supporting business growth through strategic legal counsel. She has also been recognised by The Legal 500 GC Powerlist India.
