Vandana Bhatia is an award-winning legal and compliance professional with over 15 years of expertise in corporate law, governance, and regulatory compliance. As Vice President – Head of Legal, Compliance & Secretariat at DBS Technology Services India Private Limited, she plays a pivotal role in driving legal excellence and strategic compliance initiatives. Her journey reflects resilience, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to professional excellence.

Starting her career at a remarkably young age due to family circumstances, Vandana demonstrated a go-getter attitude that propelled her forward. She began as a CS Intern at Ranjeet Pandey & Associates in 2009, quickly advancing to an assistant role. During this time, she earned her Company Secretary (CS) qualification from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, followed by an LLB and an MBA in Finance, strengthening her expertise in corporate law and financial compliance.

Her breakthrough came in 2011 when she joined Aurigene Discovery Technologies, a subsidiary of Dr. Reddy’s, as a Company Secretary. She subsequently held key roles at NIIT, Caspian Impact Investments, and IQVIA India, each time expanding her expertise and leadership. At Caspian, she rose from Manager to Head of Legal within four years, showcasing her ability to drive transformative legal strategies. She also served as Board Member and Director – Legal & Compliance at Ryan India Tax Services Private Limited where she handled India and Philippines corporate governance.
