Vinay Joy is a Partner in the Corporate and Commercial practice group at Khaitan & Co’s Bengaluru office. He advises a diverse range of domestic and multinational clients on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital transactions, due diligence and complex contractual matters.

Vinay is also a member of the Firm’s Employment, Labour and Benefits practice, where he advises clients on contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including those arising from business transfers and the integration of acquired businesses. His experience includes advising on employment agreements, workplace policies, employee stock option schemes, internal investigations, sexual harassment investigations and domestic inquiries.

As part of the Firm’s White-Collar Crime practice, Vinay has handled investigations relating to whistleblower complaints, FCPA and Prevention of Corruption Act matters, fraud, misconduct by senior executives, and theft of confidential information. He also regularly conducts client workshops on anti-corruption compliance, helping organisations strengthen governance, ethics and risk-management frameworks.
